ELBERT COUNTY, Ga. – Two men were arrested following the execution of a search warrant at an Elbert County residence as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged drug sales.
According to the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, investigators executed the warrant Friday, Sept. 4, at a residence on Allen Logan Road.
During the search, deputies reportedly found 10 individually packaged bags of suspected methamphetamine weighing more than 16 grams in total. Investigators also seized a small bag of suspected marijuana, digital scales, three syringes, drug paraphernalia, cash and a 9mm handgun.
Jarrett Lee was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.
Jamal Norman was also arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
The arrests stem from the sheriff’s office’s ongoing investigation into suspected illegal drug activity at the residence.
