The Medical Center of Elberton Scheduling Appointments for Covid Vaccine

Elbert County Emergency Services posts announcement from The Medical Center of Elberton.
COVID-19 VACCINE:
We are now accepting appointments for ages 65 and older for the COVID-19 vaccine. We do have a long wait list. We are working through that list to make sure that everybody who wants a vaccine gets a vaccine.
Patience is a virtue right now. We ask that you call us and get your name on the list. We will call you back with an appointment time.
You do not get to choose which vaccine you get – you will get either Pfizer or Moderna.
You MUST schedule an appointment. You cannot come in as a walk-in and get the vaccine. Please be prepared for the appointment to take 30 minutes.
If you are sick you cannot receive the vaccine.
If you need to reschedule please call us immediately because we do have many people waiting for the vaccine.
It is our full intention to vaccinate all of our established patients as quickly and efficiently as possible. As the next phase opens up we will make the public aware.
